"Our old furnace AC system died. RHA (Rocklin Heating and Air provided a very competitive quote plus they had many good reviews.

We switched to a heat pump AC system. Once I approved the quote RHA installed the next day. The installation was completed in one day. It was clean, the installers were professional and friendly, and they were happy to answer all my curiose questions during the installation.

We had a slight problem related to the condensation drain but they quickly resolved with utmost priority.
The new system works wonderfully.

"Our home is 24 years old, and we have patched the HVAC system in one way or another over the last 6 years. The Circuit Board went out during the days where temperatures exceeded 100 degrees, and was replaced by a contractor from our Home Warranty company after 5 days, but it went out 6 hours after installation. They also noted the Driver Motor and Blower Fan weren't within tolerances and needed replacement, but never came back for a re-inspection to see what caused the circuit board to fry - TWICE.
We finally committed to full replacement and received 3 proposals for the project. Rocklin Heating and Air was not the "cheapest", but they were the most comprehensive.
Having worked in Surety Bonds for Contractors and Developers (Bid Bonds, Performance and Payment Bonds) I am aware of the possible perils of the "Low Bidder" who leaves many of your questions unaddressed.
Rocklin Heating and Air had the best BBB ratings and took the time to address every one of our concerns in a timely manner. We have a 3,000 sq. ft. single story home, and actually upgraded from the replacement system they originally recommended.
Rocklin Heating and Air installed a portable A/C unit in our bedroom so we could sleep at night. No charge.
The full installation was quick (less than a full day in the attic) and they cleaned up afterwards to the condition they found.
We haven't even heard the A/C come on, and it's right outside our bedroom window - it's that quiet.
Just a constant, comfortable temperature.
It also comes with a 10 year warranty - serviced by Rocklin Heating and Air. They stand behind their work.
We appreciate nice things, and are willing to pay for quality and long-term use.

"AUGUST 12, 2026 UPDATE: After new HVAC installation in March, we wanted more air flow in the back bedroom - which never cooled or heated properly before, but definitely improved after Rocklin Heating and Air installed new HVAC system. Mark expertly diagnosed and explained the solution with photos. He returned today to install additional dampers and made duct adjustments. After he finished, tremendous 100% more air flow!! Rocklin Heating and Air are experts to diagnose and fix any HVAC issues!!! According to neighbors, reviews, and our experience, no question they are the BEST HVAC company. MARCH 9, 2026 A new HVAC was installed by Rocklin Heating & Air by Elliott and Gerald and everything from start to finish was like clock work; smooth, well-communicated, and professionally done with great care to do things right. Drop cloths were laid out and shoe covers were used to protect our floors. Plastic drapes were hung in the attic access area to protect items in the master closet. After installation, they ran the AC and Heating systems to check temperatures were running properly. Clean up and service throughout the day was impeccable. Service extended to help connect and review how to use new thermostat and attic fan using smart devices. The install would not have happened without Manager Brandon Cruz who provided above and beyond service with the proposal, answering numerous questions, and offering help throughout the process. One thing that has always stood out to me is their experience and teamwork. Every technician I've met has had years of experience, and they typically arrive with another team member to assist. This approach makes the service call efficient and thorough—while one technician keeps me informed about what's being done, the work continues without unnecessary delays.

Most recently, I had an issue with my A/C system, and I was genuinely impressed by how methodical and thorough the technician was in diagnosing the problem. In my previous home, I've worked with other HVAC companies for maintenance and repairs, and I often left wondering whether the recommended work was truly necessary or if I was simply being overcharged. I've never had that feeling with RH&A.

Rocklin dispatched a tech who "had to swap trucks" and therefor didn't know where the tools/parts were so he 'anchored' the foos with a sheet metal screw. SMH"

"Rocklin Heating and Air was able to fit me in quickly. They diagnosed the problem, took pictures and submitted the details. It was determined the unit needed to be replaced. They gave me two options for replacement. I sent all the info to my good friend and who had his own hvac business in town. He unfortunately retired and move to Idaho. He said the quote looked good and it was true about the R22. Plus they have a special financing program going. That is as much as I can give feedback on so far."
