He thoroughly and clearly explained my current system with pictures, the options he was offering, and his recommendation. Offering competitive pricing, high quality equipment, presented in a very personable and professional manner. Update: I ended up having Rocklin install a complete new HVAC system. Let me just say that their service is exceedingly strong. For example, they take calls and have technicians that work on weekends! You can get good equipment from any number of sources, but the expertise and especially the customer service to make sure all expectations are met is absolutely first rate from this company. Brad came out promptly to assess what we had and came up with a proposal that included a larger intake to improve efficiency as well as an automatic 3 speed attic fan that reacts to attic temperature. The quote for a 3 ton 2 speed Carrier system with these extras beat a competitors bid (which did not include anything similar) by a few thousand dollars. The install crew did a great job. It was a one day install and went smoothly. They scheduled another contractor to perform the mandatory duct testing as well as arranging the city final inspection. Rocklin H & A even sent an employee out the morning of the inspection to set up a ladder for the inspector to have attic access! Very pleased how this project (and large investment) went from start to finish."

We went with a Carrier 16 Seer2 variable speed heat pump system, which qualified for a $2500 rebate with Roseville Electric Utility in June 2025. He replaced my capacitor, added a hard start assist relay for the compressor, replaced my valve seal, made sure no leaks, checked my refrigerant volume and pressure. He monitored the temperature differential between refrigerant leaving and re-entering the unit. He monitored air flow on my intake and outgoing vents in the house. He even re-organized the wiring, capacitor, and relays inside the AC control area. Again, above and beyond. "In the market to update my air conditioning unit as it’s over 20 years old. Rocklin heating and air, Brad, came out and inspected our current unit and made some recommendations if upgrading. I had seen their add that after 2024 gov is requiring new coolant and a 30% increase in equipment cost. He was very fair and straightforward. I plan to get further quotes based on their auto quoting web site. He said the turnaround time would be about a week if we decided to move forward, no pressure. I have had success with Rocklin heating and air about six years ago with the installation of a cool quiet whole house fan, which has worked great since purchasing it. I’ve heard nothing but good Reports from others who have used this company as well. My personal experience has been the same. Look forward to doing business with them in the near future. Update 10/1/24 Brad called back and checked in if I had further questions which I did so was great timing. I wanted to see more quotes and configurations. Answered all my questions with as much detail as I needed and provided quotes the same day, no waiting. I selected my new system and sign assignment on 9/30/24. Today, 10/1/24, lead Everett and Brad came out and design system and planned out install. They Sch install for 10/9 and plan to be in one day! They do a lot of installs a year, I never had to wait and felt I was their only customer, great customer service. Update 10/9/24 The crew(Everett, Brian, Noah and Ellet) showed up in 2 vans and unload all the new equipment on our driveway so as not to block our cars. They worked very hard all day, it was a big job ; new AC & Heater, removed all old ducting then replaced with R8 ducting, added 2 zones with 2 new thermostats, resized ducting to larger size for better air flow, less load on system, added attic fan, new vent in kitchen, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, They did a great job and kept us informed during install. Would highly recommend Rocklin heating and air, all the technicians where personal and helpful, left job site clean. Update 10/17/24 Just had the Rocklin building inspector approve the HVAC installation. Unexpected and not Requested, Brandon recognize the work of Rocklin heating and air, he said it’s exceptional and it’s above and beyond, and that they are competitive. I would say that’s a wonderful endorsement from a city official of Rocklin and adds to my own peace of mind. Update 5/6/25 Mark of Rocklin heating and air came out to do their first AC check which was part of our purchase agreement getting a new AC and heating System. All was good 👍🏼. "We just had Rocklin Heat Air team install our Carrier 4 ton heat pump. What a professional hard working team. 4 guys. Everett, Low, Gerarld, and Elliott. These guys rock ! Each person going about installing several components. We had a whole house fan, attic fan, Everett mostly took care of outside heat pump. Low on the inside with the interior fan blower system together with Elliott n Gerald taking care of whole house fan n attic fan. Incredible ! Even had 10 bags blown in insulation in the attic to supplement our 20 yr home old insulation. Thanks guys. System works well. We'll test it out for the long term.
